Thor Equities is proud to introduce Red Hoek Point, New York’s first heavy-timber waterfront office campus. Designed by internationally-acclaimed architecture firm Foster + Partners and featuring innovative greenspaces by SCAPE/Landscape Architecture, Red Hoek Point redefines the large-scale, lifestyle-driven workspace for forward thinkers across every industry.

From vast open floor plates with panoramic views to environmentally-astute construction (LEEDv4 pre- certified) and vibrant indoor and outdoor amenities, this high-profile community is purpose-built for the next generation of movers, shakers, thinkers, doers, and dreamers.

The name Red Hoek Point pays tribute to the Dutch colonial settlers who, in 1636, named the area “Roode Hoek” (Dutch for “Red Point”) on an area of Brooklyn noted for its red clay soil and pointed shape jutting into the Upper New York Bay. Today, Red Hoek Point honors this history, while celebrating an exciting future.

“Made in Brooklyn” has a new address at the forefront of the City’s hottest new waterfront in Red Hook.

  • Red Hoek Point features cutting-edge timber construction that provides numerous wellness benefits as well as a fresh perspective on workplace architecture.
  • Generates 26% to 31% less greenhouse gas than building with concrete or steel.
  • Sustainably harvested with methods that go well beyond existing environmental regulations.
  • Heavy timber construction is proven to reduce stress and enhance the health of building occupants.
